Bio
Sasha Flores serves as the Regional Operations Project Manager for Morgan Properties, one of the nation’s largest multifamily real estate owners and operators and the largest in Maryland. In her current role, Sasha manages special projects across a portfolio of 40 apartment communities throughout Maryland, New York, and Pennsylvania. She supports the company’s subsidized housing partnerships, emergency rental assistance programming, and eviction prevention program partnerships.
Sasha firmly believes that when her colleagues succeed, she does too. She has become an influential mentor for other employees at Morgan Properties through the training courses she develops and leads. Sasha is a forward-thinking, hands-on leader who has positively impacted both the Morgan Properties employees she helps manage and the residents she serves. Her achievements and contributions have been well-recognized; in 2016, she was the second administrator to ever win Morgan Properties’ prestigious President’s Award. Recently, Sasha was awarded the R. Bruce Campbell Advocacy Award by the Maryland Multi-Housing Association for her work at the State and local level.
Outside of work, Sasha is an active member of multiple organizations, such as the Maryland Multi-Housing Association. She has held multiple leadership positions for the chapter’s Toastmaster’s Club, including VP of Public Relations and chapter President from 2018 to 2021. Since joining, Sasha has achieved multiple certifications through Toastmasters International, like the highly competitive Triple Crown Award given to members who achieve the Competent Communicator, Competent Leader, and Advanced Leadership Bronze in one year.
Sasha is dedicated to giving back to her community. In 2018, she joined MissionFit, a Baltimore non-profit that provides strength and conditioning as well as leadership training to Baltimore’s youth. Sasha serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors, where she helps align its committees and executive leadership to the mission and ensure they’re guided by the strategic plan of strengthening youth. She has also coordinated two walks benefitting breast cancer research and treatment since 2017, including The Susan G. Komen 3-Day, 60-mile walk and the Avon Breast Cancer Crusade. Under Sasha’s leadership, the Morgan Properties team raised a combined $22,000. In 2019, Sasha led a team in raising much-needed funds by completing a 5K for Paul’s Place, a local non-profit helping Baltimore residents with housing and after-school services. Sasha is also a repeat volunteer with the Ed Reed Foundation, which provides character-building opportunities to at-risk youth through athletics and mentorship, as well as Moveable Feast, where she preps healthy meals for disadvantaged families, and cleans community gardens in the Maryland area. Additionally, Sasha has volunteered with the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary since 2016, where she served as the public affairs officer and helped them obtain their diversity award, which they’ve maintained for 7 years running. Sasha also received a commendation for her Exceptional Meritorious Service in 2019 and remains a dedicated volunteer for the organization.
Sasha has served as a role model and leader to countless employees at Morgan Properties and in her community and she continues to ignite change through her extensive service in the greater-Baltimore region.
Stay tuned – it’s just the beginning of the Sasha Flores legacy.
