Ryan Pirozzi

Ryan Pirozzi is the head of Amazon Freevee. In this role he oversees the business, marketing, and product functions for the free streaming service as well as related advertising-supported video efforts. Pirozzi joined IMDb TV (now Freevee) in 2020 as the co-head of content and programming, managing all programming for the service, including development, production, licensing and strategy. Before joining Amazon in 2011, Pirozzi spent seven years at the specialty retailer Best Buy where he led several categories including physical and digital video. Before entering the private sector, he spent five years serving in the United States Air Force, where he held the rank of captain and specialized in the acquisition of major information technology programs. Pirozzi is a native of Long Island, New York, USA. He attended the United States Air Force Academy, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Factors Engineering, and St. Mary’s University, where he earned a Masters of Business Administration.
