Norberto Reyes

Artist, Entrepreneur, Producer

My name is Norberto Reyes Camacho, Bachelor in communication and digital media by the Technological Institute of Higher Education of Monterrey Campus Santa Fe (ITESM CSF) and current CEO of VEC, a company focused on digital content for music projects. Since the beginning of my professional career I always take as a philosophy my passion and talent to the service of others.

I am passionate about seeing change and provoking emotions in others through actions, which is why I have decided to dedicate my life to events and music using my areas of expertise as a base. The first time I got on stage to mix animations in real time for a live concert I discovered how you can change a person's moment through art, for me it was something that will always be marked in my life. They may be going through different problems or you really don't know what they are living in their lives, but at that moment they are happy, enjoying what they hear, what they see, what they live... and many times those little moments are the ones that stay with us forever. I feel moved and passionate about transmitting this emotion to other people.

"He who lives inspires" This is one of my favorite ideas since it reveals to us that it is important to know a little about everything, and the way to achieve this is by listening to ideas, people and absorbing all kinds of knowledge through different experiences. We all have the ability to tell stories, but those stories that count for others are those that leave meaning to others, and often without our knowing it, they leave a mark that moves them in different types of situations.

The first time I heard about TEDx was through my professors at university who gave us lessons using different talks that not only give us the knowledge, but also inspire us in a big way. Later, the TEDxCondesaRoma license approached my university in search of volunteers and there I learned that it was possible to be part of this movement of great inspiration. A short time passed and I met Vicente Schitek who invited me to be part of the organizing team of the TEDxITESMCSF and TEDxTecdeMtySantaFe licenses. Having participated in the entire organization of the event has been one of the most important parts of my life for me and I would like to be part of it again! I want to continue contributing and inspiring others, just as I was inspired.

Many don't know that I am very resourceful creating entertainment assets like digital art for example, mainly animations and oftentimes bringing crazy ideas to real life using alternative technology and tools. I think that's an important part of me, the ability to impress and solve problems in unconventional ways.
