I am a Senior Director at Carlsberg supporting the distribution of happiness (when lockdown allows). I'm a Danophile having recently relocated from the US, with my family, to Copenhagen. I love living in such a pretty city and am grateful to be able to call this city home. Professionally, I'm a seasoned IT professional who also has a passion for creating cultures where people can be their best. I'm also a mum, a Danish language student, an avid reader and a mermaid photographer.

I've been one of few women in male-dominated environments for 25 years. I've been coached by well-meaning people (both genders) to tone down my sarcasm, my prickly edge, to stop upsetting people. But it wasn't only my prickly edge I lost. I also surrendered my impact, my individual voice. As I "Leaned In", I became a foreign woman pretending to be just like any American male in the workplace. So now I am trying something new. I'm working to bring my different perspective in my own way. And it's working...
