Cary Pinkowski

A leader and innovator in the Canadian equity arena, Cary Pinkowski has built his career on identifying major investment trends early. Cary's father and grandmother escaped communist East Germany in 1960, and other family members spent their lifetimes trapped behind the Berlin Wall. Those inherited lessons — of sacrifice, resilience, and the stark contrast between freedom and oppression — form the foundation of who he is. Travelling to East Germany himself in 1983 and again in 1987, and witnessing life behind the Iron Curtain firsthand, changed him forever. Those experiences cemented his belief that living in the West is not a right, but a gift to be cherished and never taken for granted.
