I'm Ali and I'm a 6th year pharmacy student. I quite enjoy being a pharmacist and helping people in any setting is an end-goal for me. But It's never enough for me. I constantly try to learn new skills and have new experiences and in this way I've found my way into areas like stop-motion animation, marketing, content creation, handling social media and so on. What I fear greatly in life is wasted potential and thus I enjoy trying out new skills and professions in search of finding things I could be good at and even help other people in their own journeys of self-discovery. I also watch movies and TV shows obsessively and love Learning new languages. Cheerio

I'm passionate about education, first and foremost, and philosophy, watching movies and TV shows, marketing and especially branding, content creation, travelling and new experiences in general.

This is very crude and not thought-through at all but what if governments made the education ministry their primary concern and dedicated most of their budget to developing talented youth and teaching young adults the necessary tool and skills they need to solve the problems we're too biased and weak to solve. In my opinion, a country that doesn't care about cultivating the youth does Not care about its own future.

Ever since I was just s high-schooler and one of the teachers showed us a TED Talk about Organs on a chip, I was really fascinated with the idea of people sharing their new ideas and sometimes their life's work in short speeches done in a certain way. I have watched quite a few TED Talks through the years and was inspired, motivated and enlightened by some of them. Sir Ken Robinson is definitely my favorite speaker, God bless his soul, and his talks about the educational system of schools have been really eye-opening for me. During the past years I have kept my ears sharp to hear about any opportunity regarding having something to do with TED in my country. I remember watching some news about it being held in Tehran and Kish a few years ago but I was too unexperienced to see myself benefitting TED in any way. But now after a few years, I have gathered enough knowledge and gained enough expertise in different areas to be a small member of the organizing team of TED. I'm extremely happy to be involved in TEDx IAUMS 2023 and hope to help it become an amazing experience for all who share TED's vision in life: Ideas Worth Spreading.

I think people don't really know how good I am at learning new languages and especially how good I am at using English as a second language. I'm also not bad in making animations and I would like to be known for that in the future.
