My name is Parisa Rahimi. I was born in 1997 in Iran, Tehran.
The field I studied during my bachelor's degree is microbiology.
Nowadays, I am a master's student in the field of medical microbiology. Also, I am the head of the social work group at the Eltiam charity. I have always been interested in the medical field and I am eager to learn medical sciences, and I am concerned about people's health.
I'm passionate about
learn about my self - find to get to know more useful and effective people in the society.
I like to educate people about health and hygiene issues and educate people who can't afford it or are in underprivileged areas.
An idea worth spreading
I am passionate about informing and educating people about public health and hygiene. I would like everyone to know themselves and be able to deal with their weaknesses.
The TED story
For the first time, I got to know the TED conference at Iran University of Medical Sciences and I was very curious to know exactly what the purpose of TED is, I participated in a workshop and got to know more about TED. And I feel that being in TED makes me learn more about myself and find my weaknesses and deal with them.
