Dave Furneaux

I have spent the majority of my life working with and financing passionate people to create and build impactful companies. Along the way, I started 2 financial platforms; Kodiak Venture Partners at the age of 29 and Furneaux Capital at the age of 25 and start-up businesses that became market leading companies over the years. Examples include Blaze.io (Akamai), Extreme (PMC-Sierra), Philsar (Skyworks), RMI (Broadcom), Skystone (Cisco), Smartcells (Merck), Watchfire (IBM) and WHERE (EBAY). Areas i am investing in and that I am passionate about include growing food where people live (LUFA), detecting Cancer better (LUMICELL), lifting up giving globally (CAUSEMO), harnessing the Sun's energy (SOLANTRO), making the world's products sustainably (GREENLIGHT BIOSCIENCES) and providing real security in our lives (VIRSEC). Recently, I also have helped found and launch a new growth equity and project financing company focused on renewable energy and cleaner technology called INERJYS. I graduated with a BA from the Colorado College with Magna Cum Laude & Phi Beta Kappa honors.
