Bio
I grew up in Phoenix with dreams of being the Tide lady and determining when something was "new and improved". After college, I took my passion for marketing and dove into the fast-paced world of high tech; enjoying a wild ride during the telecommunications boom. I moved to Atlanta from Portlandia in 2001 to pursue love. Currently, I provide marketing and social media support to business authors and thought-leaders. Around town, I wear many hats -– community organizer, marketing and social media professional, foodie and recovering food blogger, daughter, sister, wife, auntie, grandmother, friend and TEDx volunteer.
I'm passionate about
the impact of ideas, words, and kindness.
An idea worth spreading
“Our deeds determine us, as much as we determine our deeds.”
― George Eliot, Adam Bede
Areas of expertise
Content Curation, jack of all trades, Marketing, PR, Social Media, team building
The TED story
In 2013 I answered a call for a social media volunteer. From a coffee meeting to discuss providing social support for the 2nd TEDxCentennialParkWomen event, I went on to work on each event since. I have the bug to share ideas worth spreading and to encourage other people involved in the process. Since that initial volunteer experience, I've taken on greater responsibility as Marketing Lead for several years and most recently Partnership Lead for two years and now co-organizer. Interested?
