About Utkarsh
Bio
As a self-taught amateur data scientist, I have dedicated my career to experimenting with AI, ML, and Deep Learning.
I have built models for a wide variety of use cases in Bangalore's startup ecosystem, ranging from catalog organization for e-commerce to dynamic pricing , music generation, QA and more. Appreciate it dear reader, for this was 5 years before Transformer paper came out.
My proudest personal achievement was working on a natural-sounding speech synthesis system in 2017. The approach that worked for me was later implemented in Wavenet 2, confirming that I was headed in the right direction.
Driven by my passion for AI, I co-founded a startup focused on building a privacy layer for AI. Our goal is to democratize data access and accelerate human knowledge and intuition for anyone skilled enough to ask the right questions.
Despite my achievements, I hold myself to a high standard of success - one based on actual accomplishments rather than just proxies.
I'm passionate about
I am passionate about the intersection of data, information systems, AI, culture, history, and philosophy - where the beauty of human knowledge meets the power of technology.
Nature has become my guiding light in recent years, revealing a profound connection between my soul and the world around me. I am also drawn to the art of city planning, urban design, and architecture, which all speak to the creative forces that shape our reality.
These passions propel me forward, inspiring me to explore new horizons and embrace the infinite possibilities of this world.
To be honest, I cannot definitely point to what my passion is. I'm learning a lot in my mid 20s. Some days I try to imagine life as a product manager at Valve responsible for the beautiful game that is Counter Strike.
An idea worth spreading
Have you ever considered that ideas and beliefs may be living entities?
By acknowledging them as such, we can better understand and engage with them on our own terms. This is essential for appreciating cultural diversity, to enhance and allow cultures spaces to grow with modern technology and avoiding homogeneity.
Let's connect and share ideas on how we can use data modelling and build frameworks to organise ourselves better as a civilisation (not just a group of cultures)
Things you might not know
