About Denice
Bio
Denice Evans, CEO of Rise Up Resiliency, is an educator, documentary filmmaker, national presenter and graduate of Emory University.
Ms. Evans has been a keynote speaker for ten years on college and university campuses where she presented primary prevention programs in conjunction with her award-winning documentary, Spitting Game: The College Hook Up Culture.
Denice considers herself to be a conscious disruptor and curator of dreams. She developed the concept of Rise Up Resiliency based on the culmination of her lived and learned life experiences; from supporting her son through 12 years of addiction issues, to reinventing herself as a current graduate student enrolled in the M.A. psychology program at University of West Georgia.
Denice seeks to facilitate and provide programs in “Modern Sovereignty” by utilizing the principles of non-reactive living, embodied awareness and inner resiliency. It is her intention to create a platform that is “an oasis of knowledge” for people who are curious about the journey to becoming their sovereign self.
