Dr. Sarah Dihmes is a powerhouse in the fields of behavioral medicine, entrepreneurship, and empowering women to reach their true potential. Holding a Ph.D. in health psychology she completed her post-doctoral fellowship at California Pacific Medical Center in the Neurogastroenterology, Radiation Oncology, and Cardiac Rehab Department. Dr. Dihmes has proven an invaluable asset to a range of multidisciplinary teams from Johns Hopkins to UCSD. Seeing the value of clinical psychophysiology techniques, she has been biofeedback certified for over 10 years and has developed a neurofeedback program for The Clinic and will serve as its Director. She acts as a mental health expert on the Advisory Board of the Angiogenesis Foundation, Healthhunt India, and with over 20 publications in the field of behavioral medicine, her impact in the medical field has been extensive. While she’s an incredibly accomplished woman, Sarah always longed to do more to help others outside of a clinical setting. Possessing a strong passion for assisting people in need, she has gone beyond her professional work to become an influential donor for a variety of organizations. Working directly with Avon’s breast cancer research, TED, Children Across Borders, and more, she aims to provide resources and education across a range of areas. Taking a page from this artistic part of her brain, Sarah’s work in design, and has been featured in Italian Vogue and The Knot. She’s drawn on her own personal evolution appearance of achievement and has turned it into a passion project benefitting women around the world. A participant and winner in multiple beauty pageants, she funded her Ph.D. with a scholarship and created her new organization with the goal of showing women they can be smart and beautiful. Titled Beauty Bootcamp, she has created a program designed to encourage women of all walks of life to embrace their inner and outer beauty. Offering a range of services, the program has spread across the U.S. in luxurious medical settings. Beauty Bootcamp addresses the female need to feel confident in how they look while exploring their own mindsets around success, health, productivity, and more. Sarah is passionate about teaching women how to uncover their true identity and honor their worth and value even when they are most challenged to do so. Sarah is excited to share Beauty Bootcamp with moms, young women, grandmothers, and any woman who desires to feel cherished. When she's not researching and developing a range of programs and organizations, her clinical work treats clients from CEO’s to college students in San Francisco. The Clinic is a premier institution specializing in sex, stress, and sleep.

Dr. Sarah Dihmes is aiming to change the way women feel about themselves both inside and out. Dr. Dihmes led the clinical research team at the Avon Comprehensive Care Breast Center at Johns Hopkins Medical Centers. She has been helping women of all ages recover from depression, anxiety, and chronic illnesses through her research, therapy, biofeedback, neurofeedback and teaching for over 10 years. An expert in women’s health, she has 20 publications in the field of behavioral medicine. She is on the board of Angiogenesis and Healthhunt.in making lives healthier and happier promoting the future of wellness. Sarah was awarded an academic scholarship from The Miss America Organization that funded her doctorate in women’s health. A long-time beauty pageant competitor and coach, Sarah noticed that the way breast cancer patients felt about themselves, and specifically their appearance, showed measurable improvement after using cosmetics donated by Avon. Taking this idea several steps further, Sarah expanded her research to explore attitudes of female executives, busy moms, and nearly every woman she could study to determine how beautification treatments could positively affect their productivity, self-esteem, and overall mental health. Her latest project, Beauty Bootcamp, offers women of all ages the tools they need to be both smart and beautiful at the same time without being on the receiving end of today’s societal stigmas. One to two day programs offer an expedited range of cosmetic and behavioral services, with an emphasis on giving women the nurturing care they need in their busy lives. Drawing from her extensive biofeedback experience, Dr. Dihmes is making huge waves in giving women the tools they need for success.
