I am the Founder, Chairman & CEO of Metropolitan Capital (MetCap). MetCap is what would be referred to in Europe as a "Universal Bank" - private banking, commercial banking and investment banking delivered in an integrated manner through a single provider (e.g., Goldman Sachs, UBS, Barclays, etc.). While in Europe, Universal Banks exist large and small, in North America, they are really only large. MetCap is one of the very few, if not the only, boutique Universal Bank in the US, and is focused upon small to medium size businesses and the founders and families that own or operate them. We are headquartered in Chicago, with a presence in San Francisco and New York.
