Bio
Being a curious scientist through and through, as a graduate chemist I joined the TEDxHannover Team in March 2016. During my PhD thesis I worked in a laboratory and tried to resemble a potential antimalarial agent with synthetic chemistry methods. I started my professional career as a scientific editor, followed by being a project manager in the area of science communication and project funding. I am super-curious, love nature, spend much time with mountain biking and windsurfing. I own many, many books covering numerous genres and adore good handmade music. I can cook very well and like to bake my own bread. As part of the TEDxHannover Team, I´m responsible for marketing and communication. I´ll try to make our events attractive, inspiring and unforgettable. Sometimes I will guide you through our events by moderation.

The TED story
I joined the TEDxHannover Team in March 2016. Watching TED talks on a regular basis, I discovered a TEDxHannover event by accident. The team was open minded and directly invited me to work together with them on the next events. Since then I am a permament member in the TEDxHannover Team mainly dealing with marketing and communication but also with moderation of our events. And I can say: I still love it!
