Bio
Left school at 16 and worked my way through big American companies.....Coca-Cola, Mars and PepsiCo then went to work on a global role for a Christian charity which was an incredible experience. I travelled the world running conferences and seminars training people about various Christian courses and meeting awesome people. I never wanted to run my own business in fact I used to tell people I couldn't imagine anything worse than being my own boss yet here I am running two businesses and supporting others on how to do it themselves. The good thing is I love it!! I combine this whilst raising my two inherited children through their teenage years, being actively involved in our church and finding my way through a serious mental illness diagnosis.
I'm passionate about
Light installations, finding the highest place in any city, architecture and the sea, meeting new people & learning about new things, knowing a little bit about a lot of things.
An idea worth spreading
Everyone who juggles a busy life and a family knows that there are about 5 meals they regularly cook, they are not the ones they would cook for friends and fancy parties but they are the staple of their household and the family loves them. They are quick, easy and cost effective but they can get repetitive and we all like a change sometimes. There has to be a way of sharing these recipes, it's not an exciting idea but being able to increase the repatiore of meals for our families is exciting. Putting together foods you haven't tried before and seeing the family enjoy it is something all busy parents enjoy. Simple, easy and accessible is the way this idea takes off.

The TED story
Working on your own can be a challenge and meeting interesting, intelligent women to be able to talk about everything from world events to what's going on in Grey's Anatomy is something I love and miss. TED talks open my world an pique my interest and the chance to go to a TED event is such a fantastic opportunity to meet other like minded people, I can't wait......bring it on!
