I am a high school senior graduating in 2015 from the Pembroke Hill School in Kansas City, Missouri, and will be attending Williams College starting in the fall of 2015. I lead my school’s student-run news magazine, am active in the debate circuit, mock trial, student government, theatre, and cross country. Outside of school, I have volunteered in a local charter school creating programs to excite young minds through reading and science. I have also worked in the kitchens at Eventide Oyster Company and Hugo’s Restaurant, both in Portland, Maine.
