After graduating I completed a Machine Tool apprenticeship in Bielefeld, Germany, I followed this with various CAD/CAM, metrology and manufacturing courses. Throughout the past 20 years I have taken a variety of communications & management courses e.g. Dale Carnegie, Stephen Covey (Certified Trainer), Beyond the Bottom Line, Dimensional Management Training and QuantumShift (Ivey Business School Program). I have also recently completed the Certified Directors course from DeGroote/McMasters. Early on in my career I worked for several years in Florida selling machines, metrology equipment and CAD/CAM systems. Thereafter I moved to my present company as Manager of CNC/CAM, I then moved to Europe to build a factory and run the European operations. In the early ‘90’s I returned to Canada as Executive VP and then in 1998 became President. I have sat on several advisory, community and business Boards and continue to be active with corporate social responsibility. I have been married for 22 years with two daughters and enjoy active sports
