Bio
I am a 69 year old woman that stays very busy. I love my family, friends, animals, and my community. I work full-time, I have a travel business, and I am very involved with several other entities, including three non-profits. I stay involved with our TEDxEustis all year long. I am passionate about it as well as the other things going on in my life. I love to travel and I love to spend time with my family, many of whom live out of my area. My husband of 20 years is a RN and we love to spend time together and are equally as happy spending time apart. I am all about being positive and kind and want everyone to be supportive of one another. I have the motto that "if it ain't fun, don't do it" and I realize that everything cannot be handled that way, but a lot sure can!
I'm passionate about
My family, my friends, my dogs, my business, my work, travel, crafting, scrapbooking, doing puzzles, coloring. I like to find solutions for people when they are lost or confused. I love systems and I love to put them into place where they are needed.
An idea worth spreading
Sharing what we own and no longer buying things that are only needed once in a blue moon. We could have a "lending library" full of these items.

The TED story
My son, Tim, is extremely passionate about a lot of things. He was the licensee of our TEDxEustis. As soon as he mentioned that he wanted to bring a TEDx to our town, I was all in. I love watching TED and TEDx talks and have so much respect and reverence for the whole process. I personally have no interest whatsoever in giving a talk and while I can speak in public, it's not my thing. But I love helping others get on the stage and give the best talk of their life.
Things you might not know
Riding a motorcycle. I gave mine away several years ago, so many people in my area have never even seen me on a motorcycle.
