Teaching: Wellbore Cements at Graduate level, and Fluid Properties, Field Operations Laboratory, Senior design and Subsurface Geology at undergraduate level. Research: Experimental work on wellbore cements durability in acidic brine, developing a method for Fracture/Fluid interactions and impact of drilling mud contaminations on wellbore integrity. In addition research effort is focused on designing cements for geothermal applications and evaluating impact of mechanical manipulation of wellbore cements as a remediation tool for leaky wellbores (focus on Gulf of Mexico). The research also includes two CCS projects: cap-rock integrity in CCS environment and impact of CCS on carbonate minerals in proposed carbon dioxide storage formation. Industrial collaboration: Shell sponsored project for experimental evaluation of mechanically . 2) 2006 to 2008: E&P, Drilling and Completions Team, BP America, Houston, TX, USA. 3) 2005 to 2006: Federation of American Scientist, Washington DC, USA. Project Manager for Novel Housing Technology 4) 2003 to 2005: Princeton University, Princeton, NJ, USA. Member of a research team that was assembled from different departments to work on Carbon Mitigation Initiative. 5) 1999 to 2003: Interface Analysis Centre/ University of Bristol, Bristol UK.
