Bio
I joined Radio Flyer in 2008 as a materials engineer. Since then I’ve helped launch hundreds of new products, sold to millions of customers that have created billions of smiles and warm memories. I’ve been a part of many teams along the way - from the world-class product development team, to our US Operations team, to our International team.
In 2010 I was fortunate to start to lead our Sustainability efforts. I’m passionate about leading Radio Flyer to achieve our science based target, and proud that we were the first children’s products company to commit to that worthy pursuit. In 2022 we achieved B Corp status as well!
I continued to learn more parts of the business as I started to lead the US Operations and Warehouse teams starting in 2012, including a highlight of driving a forklift! Throughout these roles I dove into the details, got dirty, built teams, KPI’s and processes that drove results.
In 2016 I moved to Hong Kong to lead the Radio Flyer international team. My family and I loved the challenge of living abroad and learning a new culture. I helped to cultivate the RF values through transparency, feedback, and selection - leading the international team to significant improvements in employee engagement, job satisfaction, and breakthrough results. We launched many new products and categories including the exciting FLYER electric bikes and scooters!
In 2022 I returned to the Chicago office to lead Radio Flyer to continue to launch more innovative new products, do our part to reduce our environmental footprint, and spread smiles and create warm memories that last a lifetime.
Throughout my life I’ve been a passionate and at least mediocre musician - playing over 1,000 concerts as a part of various bands. My current highlight is playing regular shows with my son on the drums! In my spare time I love running, tolerate marathons, play less golf than I’d like, and get into lots of adventures with my wife and two boys!
