Emma has led advocacy communications and public relations for industries, Fortune 500 companies, and start-ups (Nuclear Energy Institute, Exelon Corporation, and the cannabis wellness company dosist, named a TIME Magazine Best Invention and “cannabis that could replace pills”) weaving together campaigns and stakeholders to advance public policy priorities and reputations. As the first woman to make Managing Director at Sloane in Manhattan, ranked the top global corporate PR firm, she led the Public Affairs practice, and now applies her knowledge of advocacy communications and PR as an entrepreneur. As a brand strategist, community curator and culture changer, she has produced campaigns and events for non-profits, causes and brands, including The Edition Hotel by Ian Schrager, climate action, and criminal justice reform. She is thrilled to be attending her first TED event.
