Phil Clegg

Phil Clegg is the Executive Director of the American Student Association of Community Colleges (ASACC) and the Associate Dean of Students/Director of Student Leadership & Involvement at Utah Valley University (UVU). He has worked with ASACC since 1997 building the community college voice across the United States. He has been at UVU for nearly 18 years and has served in various positions in student life there. Phil has earned his Associates and Bachelors Degree from Utah Valley University and a Masters of Public Administration from Brigham Young University in 2003. He is currently a student at Oregon State University where he has completed his coursework and is in the final stages of his dissertation for a Doctor of Philosophy in Education with a Community College emphasis. Phil lives in Lindon, Utah with his wife Jennifer, his two daughters and one son.

I was asked by Utah Valley University to attend. I am so excited as I have followed TED and many of the speakers for a few years. We hope to bring a TEDx event to the university sometime in the near future.
