Gaurav Ghai

Gaurav Ghai, is a Director of Sterling Publishers Group Companies. After doing graduation from Sriram College of Commerce, attended a short course on Business Strategies from London School of Economics in 1991. At Sterling, he is responsible for introducing and developing children books for age group 0-14. He also heads the finance and marketing department. In children books, Sterling Publishes around 300 new titles every year, which include board books, story books, activity and colouring, phonics, grammar books both generic and licensed. He is also responsible for forging tie-ups with Early Childhood Publications Pte Ltd., Singapore (1991), Evans Brothers UK (2000), Parramon Spain (2001), The Chart Studio Pty Ltd., South Africa (2002), Chuang Yi Publishing Pte. Ltd, Singapore (2007) and now Tessloff Verlag GmbH & Co. KG, Germany (2009). He has travelled around the world for marketing and exhibiting in the international book fairs like, Frankfurt, Bologna, London, New York, Cape Town, Paper World, Toy Fair in Nuremburg etc. He has also developed book fairs and book clubs in the schools for marketing children books and has set up an office in Dubai in 2008.
