Idealism is often seen as something unreachable, comparable to Utopia. Yet more often than not, idealism stems from a creative, common-good and business-sense mindset. Where there is no space to optimize an abusive development action. So being called an idealist, is more a measure of what others perceive as being (im)possible rather than actually presenting an idea that isn't attainable.

I wanted to co-organize a TedxWomen Event in Aruba, and then ended up quickly whipping up a TEDxCountdown event with the license owner. A fun and brilliant experience! We were a great duo and it just felt great to be a woman, being empowered by another more experienced woman, to do good things for this community. I am forever thankful and look forward to organizing more events with my co-organizer.
