I am a student at the University of Akron studying Mechanical Engineering. I aim to leave a beneficial impact on the places I visit. My goals in college pertain to academic studies, the construction of new friendships, and learning the skills necessary to change the world. On campus, I participate in Residence Life and Housing, Greek Life, Isshinryu Karate and professional development. In my free time, I work to create sound and media productions. I commit myself wholeheartedly to the endeavors I pursue. TEDxUniversityofAkron is a chance to foster new outlooks, and proliferate great ideas.

My TED path began in 2011, when an English teacher informed me of these "talks". I proceeded to watch a great many and started talking to friends about the movement. Several organizations I worked with, around the same time, began showing TED to members. In the spring of 2014, I was recruited into TEDxUniversityofAkron for my technological and event planning skills. TEDxUNiversityofAkron's first talk was a wonderful learning experience and a successful event. This year, our TEDx organization on campus worked diligently to produce "Breaking The Mold". The second TEDxUniversityofAkron was a remarkable improvement upon the first, in size and scale.
