I started my career in business more than forty years ago and a lot of things have changed over those years, not least the super-fast growth of all things technical. And whilst this has no doubt speeded up the pace at which we operate both in our personal and work lives one fundamental has not changed and that is the way we interact with each other and the relationships we develop. Business is after all first and foremost about people and as a passionate ‘people-person’, my career has been focused on becoming a specialist in communication and presentation. Over the years I have worked for and with some of the most influential UK companies along with some truly inspirational people including Boots, Marks & Spencer, The Body Shop, John Lewis and latterly Liz Earle and QVC. I have enjoyed a number of roles from Buyer and Product Manager through to Head of Sales & Marketing until setting up my own business as a Sales & Marketing Professional offering personal hands-on business support. I have been fortunate to have achieved considerable success coaching individuals, building teams, and developing successful business relationships with these key UK accounts and now enjoy sharing my knowledge, skills, and experience with a variety of SME’s and entrepreneurs on a project basis. I am often heard to say that ‘the devil is in the detail’ and this is no truer than in the business world where the finer details can have the biggest impact. With an unrivalled attention to detail, I always strive to provide exceptional service to benefit my clients and achieve the best results.

Having been a personal fan of TED talks online, I am delighted to have been asked to be Hospitality Manager as part of the Executive Team for TEDxLukelyBrook on March 2nd 2022 - my first 'hands-on' experience of a TED event.
