Leanne Favreau

Leanne Favreau is the Interpretive Programs Manager at The Wild Center and a lifetime resident of rural communities. She earned a B.A. in Integrated Studies combining Environmental Studies, Natural Resource Sustainability, and Hospitality from Paul Smith’s College. Later she taught biology labs and conducted research on the use of silvopastures to mitigate climate change. At The Wild Center she works collaboratively with the programming team to develop experiences that deepen visitors' engagement with the natural world. Leanne has managed community focused projects such as a volunteer constructed art installation, cultural festivals, teen internship program, and community maple program. Throughout her career Leanne has been dedicated to providing opportunities for people to connect with place and each other. In her free time she loves to paddle, hike, ski, paint, and play outside!
