My name is Micah Alameda a nonprofit executive living my wildest dreams in Hilo, Hawaiʻi. I'm a 33-year-old father and husband. I am a tireless seeker of knowledge, occasional purveyor of wisdom, and a creator of digital things. My experience stems from years as a political strategist, executive, producer, and various forms of volunteer work.

Redesigning everything for a sustainable and regenerative future.

In March 2021 I played a small part in Hawaiʻi County Mayor Mitch Roth's dream to convene a sustainability summit with the greatest minds of our time. It was 2-days of inspiring keynote speakers, with fourteen engaging breakout sessions, lasting over 16 total hours; it cultivated imaginations and developed actionable strategies that set the course for a more sustainable County of Hawaiʻi. Collectively we can balance environmental health, social equity, and economic vitality and craft a thriving, healthy, diverse, and resilient island for this generation and generations to come. That led me here, to My TED story moment.
