I am a strategic thinker, comfortable in ambiguity, and work within organisations on the cusp of change helping shape strategy and drive action forward. I am currently leading the strategy and partnering for a new online TV venture in New Zealand (Lightbox) and its associated sports business (Lightbox Sport), after several years in strategy and business development roles in traditional FTA and PayTV in NZ and the UK. Outside of work I am passionate about utilising my skills to supporting others - including mentoring primary school principals in strategic planning, mentoring a female high school student through a 4 year YWCA Future Leaders Programme, and as Partnerships Manager for TEDxAuckland. I love the adventure of travelling to new and interesting places, especially if there is an opportunity to get into nature through hiking or kayaking. Travel has already taken me to South America, Europe, South East Asia, India and Nepal. I am pregnant with my first child, and would like to use the timing and opportunity to make the move out of corporate, and be more of service to my community. Still working through what that could look like, and aiming to use my time at TEDWomen to explore that more.
