Currently I am a student at the UofA and I run a club called Climb and Cycle UAlberta. I am passionate about investing and I always love to have those kinds of conversations.
An idea worth spreading
One thing that is never taught in schools is financial literacy. It’s not a sexy subject but it’s one that all people should know. One does not need an abundance of knowledge, but ideas about how the markets work and how to invest your money must be learned. Without it, the normal is that adults will work until they’re 65 and retire. Unfortunately this is where society is at. Without taking action, people will be financially illiterate and fall into the trap of working until they physically can’t.
