About Soumik
Bio
As a musician, composer and collaborator, I work with artists across the world to showcase new and innovative music. My main instrument is Sarod, a 19 stringed fretless lute from India. Bringing ancient Indian music to a global arena, I have collaborated with Beyoncé, Joss Stone, Jay Z, Bill Bailey, Nitin Sawhney and Anoushka Shankar. I'm here to showcase a new album I've made with my musical partner Bernhard Schimpelsberger. The record is called Anti Hero and is available for a free download here soumikdatta.com
