About Brook
Bio
Brook Eddy received her master’s degree from the University of Michigan in Social Policy and Non-Profit Management. Brook worked in public affairs for Bank One developing corporate giving programs, for reproductive justice organizations, and as an NPR news station executive orchestrating statewide marketing and donor development.
Brook spent three months in India researching and writing about a spiritual movement based on Bhakti, or devotion through social action. What began as crafting a superior home brewed masala chai for friends after returning from India - in mason jars with Kabir poems as labels - turned into Bhakti Chai, a profitable social and environmental business, which now produces over 3,000 gallons of spicy chai concentrate a month for retail and wholesale accounts throughout Colorado.
I'm passionate about
Reproductive justice, chess, religious and political reform. Spicy food, new flavors, and friends. Our message of devotion through social action, writing, grassroots organizations, poetry, and travel.
