Bio
I have been a high school teacher for 20 years with the Durham Catholic District School Board. I currently teach history at St. Mary CSS School in Pickering, Ontario and I have been the Curriculum Chair of the department of Canada and World Studies/Social Sciences for four and a half years. I am also the Lead Teacher for our school's Non-Profit Specialist High Skills Major program and the teacher supervisor of the St. Mary Ambassadors. I am happily married and have two amazing children. I am a huge fan of various sports too. I enjoy watching the very inspirational TED, TEDx and TEDed Talks and I have been the co-organizer of six TEDx conferences in Oshawa, Ontario starting in 2013.
