Bio
Dr. Lev Ring is CEO of Sage Geosystems, a new geothermal venture that he co-founded. Prior to that he was Director of Engineering and R&D at Weatherford. During his tenure at Weatherford, Lev managed drilling and well construction engineering and R&D teams. Prior to joining Weatherford, Lev was co-founder and CTO of Enventure Global Technologies, a Shell/Halliburton joint venture. Lev holds more than 100 patents, and has received numerous awards, including the 2016 World Oil Innovative Thinker Award, Lev holds a Ph.D. in Physics and Mathematics from the Russian Academy of Sciences and a M.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.
