For decades, Harvey has been building relationships that not only drive business opportunities but produce a rich global network of colleagues and companies in a variety of channels and markets. Entrepreneurial by nature, he has successfully started, grown and sold a number of businesses. He understands that not all great products or competent people succeed-often times its just a matter of hard work, impeccable timing and a bit of luck. This means not just working hard but working smart. He draws on these experiences to support young, emerging companies to execute strategic planning and collaborative organizational development. Having earned a reputation as a strategic partner with Apple that is based on years of trust and professional integrity, he is often times approached by clients to manage their Apple business. In each instance, he will first conduct an assessment to determine how fully prepared the company is to achieve success. He will examine in detail all aspects of the product, the business plan and the organization. Very often, the first task with clients is in refining the plan, organizing the team and providing meaningful mentorship. He fully understands what it means to wear many hats in the organization and to do whatever is needed to realize objectives. Harvey has direct experience in the following channels: consumer direct, retail, outdoor/marine, enterprise, government, health care and hospitality. He has expertise in: soft goods/hardware manufacturing, sales, marketing, channel management, logistics, accounting, finance and human resources. In addition to providing a broad range of consultative services, Harvey serves on the Boards of Directors of a number of companies. He currently focuses on supporting individuals and organizations addressing climate change, sustainability and resilience.
