Kirk Walker

Kirk is the Alumni Relations Officer at the University of Northern British Columbia and teaches anthropology at the College of New Caledonia. Kirk has an MA in Interdisciplinary Studies that took him to a remote village in the Andean highlands where he examined the collective memory of the community that was significantly impacted with violence during Peru's internal armed conflict. Kirk spent the last 20 years in broadcasting and film production, the majority of which was focused on immersive experiences and special venue production for museums and science centres. Clients included Space Centre Houston, the Royal Ontario Museum and SimEx Iwerks.
