My marriage, my family, and my faith. Career wise, I'm passionate about the spa industry. Am especially interested in influencing the development of the modern spa and wellness industry globally.
An idea worth spreading
That the 85,000 spas around the world (the Global Spa Summit which my husband and I founded in 2007 commissioned the first ever global spa economy report which gave us the number of spas in the world for the first time) can become part of the solution to health care issues around the world. What it will take is for the medical community to be open to the behavioral changes that spas can facilitate through: fitness, nutrition, stress reduction, beauty, mind/body modalities, etc. and for spas to move more toward wellness and the promotion of evidence-based medicine solutions for prevention of illness.
