Bio

Shulagna works with businesses and governments on their vision, strategy, and transformation. She focuses deeply on the 'people architecture' of organizations and helps her clients ensure they have the right combination of purpose, talent, culture, leadership, experiences, and interactions at all levels. Shulagna is a people tech enthusiast and uses the power of data and AI to make work simple, fulfilling, inclusive, and personalized for workers in every industry. She advises startups in people tech and mental health tech. Shulagna enjoys speaking and writing about embracing the power of technology and accelerating reinvention - but with a sharp focus on the 'people architecture'. She strongly believes focusing on people and putting empathy and compassion at the center of every reinvention yields the best outcomes for organizations and their people. Essentially - reinvention with heart ❤️! Shulagna is an advocate for mindfulness. In addition to practicing yoga and meditation herself, she works with her clients to consider these ancient scientific methods to help regulate emotions and feel more abundant and wholehearted as leaders. She also started a small but mighty mindfulness program in her children's school district. She is most grateful for being a mom to her two beautiful boys.

An idea worth spreading

With the break-neck speed of technology advancement, reinvention will be a constant for all organizations. If they don't reinvent rapidly and continually, they won't survive. But change is hard for the humans involved. It could create confusion, frustration, conflict, anxiety and even lead to job losses - depending of how well or poorly the reinvention is managed. Reinvention doesn't have to be at the cost of people's sanity. It can be done responsibly and with kindness, empathy and compassion. It can even unlock potential and leave people feeling much more informed, up-skilled, inspired, and included. What this requires is that the 'people architecture' of organizations is managed with just as much rigor as the 'technology architecture'. Reinvention with heart. ❤️ I study and support organizational reinventions and emerging people technology to make this a reality. If you are interested in this subject, please give me a shout. We need a lot of us to make it first an idea worth spreading and then the norm.
