I live in Colle di Val d’Elsa, Tuscany. I studied Architecture at the University of Florence and currently work in a design studio focused on product design, exhibition setups, and contract projects. Since the first edition in 2022, I have been part of the TEDxColledivaldelsa team as Operations Manager, where I coordinate the operational and logistical aspects of the event. My role involves overseeing setups, managing volunteers and suppliers, coordinating schedules, and ensuring that every operational detail contributes to a seamless experience. Alongside this, I serve as Operations Manager for the association L’Alveare, which actively collaborates with projects promoted by the Municipality of Colle di Val d’Elsa. My work sits at the intersection of design, organization, and real-world execution — turning ideas into structured experiences and physical environments.

Progress comes from action, not from waiting for perfection. Too often people hold back because they fear making mistakes. But mistakes are not failures — they are part of the process that leads to improvement, learning, and innovation. The real mistake is not trying at all. When people feel empowered to act, experiment, and learn from what doesn’t work, they create momentum — and that momentum is what drives meaningful change.

I had been following TED Talks for years before becoming part of the TEDx world. The opportunity came when the license owner of TEDxCollediValdElsa asked me to review the license application, specifically the section about the location and how the event could be structured. From that moment, I became involved in the project even before the license was officially granted. Since the very first edition in 2022, I have served as Operations Manager and Graphic Lead, working on both the operational side of the event and its visual identity. In the beginning, one of the biggest challenges was credibility. We were a new initiative in a small town, led by a young team, and it wasn’t easy to convince institutions and the community that we could make it happen. But year after year we demonstrated that we could build something meaningful and well-organized. Today, the event has reached its fifth edition. What keeps me motivated is the team spirit behind the project. I strongly believe in volunteering and community-driven initiatives. I am always looking for ways to improve the experience not only for the audience, but also for the volunteers who make the event possible.
