Bio
I am Ahmed Al Aydi, 25 years old. A Palestinian refugee, live in Khan Younis camp, at Gaza Strip. An area which is characterized with the longest continued conflict case (Israeli-Palestinians, since 1948).
I am interested in defending and advocating for vulnerable, marginalized and oppressed human beings, as well as arts and languages. I worked with the Palestinian Center for Human Rights (PCHR), for two years, defending and advocating for human rights. Currently, I am working as a private lawyer.
I participated in varied voluntary work and initiatives, such as the leader of Theater Day Productions (TDP) Club, since 2013. Focusing on the development of children and youth, through thinking radically, sharing creative ideas, inspiring and motivating the team members.
Participating in the exchange program with TDP and YOUCA in Belgium, 2014, to echoing and louding the voices of Gaza youth to the outer world, through art (theater shows). As well, the presentations to the United Nations, Geneva, 2018, with the PCHR, advocating for the violations against Palestinian civilians.
