Founder of Blu Skye Sustainability Consulting, I work with CEOs from some of the world’s biggest companies to build deep sustainability principles into their core business strategies. The Blu Skye team and I help industry giants embrace innovative business models, using first-hand knowledge of how mindsets and behaviors influence practical solutions to sustainability challenges and advance their shareholder interests. Blu Skye's client approach is simple and bold, influenced by my unique background as a wilderness expedition leader and river guide, my education in philosophy and nuclear deterrence theory, and my long experience as a corporate strategy consultant. I am a class V river guide, and have led whitewater expeditions on five continents. I am currently on a year long trip around the world with my wife Marci and daughter Skye, searching the world for ‘positive deviance’ – people, projects and places where business, government and communities are creating tangible sustainable economic results that preserve the integrity of nature and culture.
