Mike Sherman

Mike has focused his career on bringing new disruptive technologies to market. Over the past 15 years, Mike has built and invested in successful startup companies across fusion technology, quantum computing, electric vehicles, robotics, and artificial intelligence (AI). He is a Managing Partner of Chrysalix Venture Capital, based in Vancouver BC, and on the board of General Fusion, who's CTO Michel Laberge spoke at TED in 2014. Mike is also an active Angel investors and most recently he has been working on a next generation animal health platform to leverage the multi billion-dollar investments in human digital health, pathology and diagnostics into the veterinary market. Prior to joining Chrysalix, Mike worked in strategic planning with Starbucks Coffee Company’s Corporate Business Alliances Group building joint venture businesses into new product categories, market verticals, and international geographies. Leveraging his passion for building and exploration, Mike has also spent time working in Europe where he built and chartered a 25 metre classic Dutch sailing ship. Mike is a graduate of the Richard Ivey School of Business and an alumni of Singularity University's Executive Program.
