As the Lead Rebel for The Quiet Rebel, LLC, Tracie Jae curates authentic, grace-filled conversations centered on difficult subjects. Her current offering is a national, growing and ongoing conversation on race and culture known as the Voices Project. Tracie holds a BA in Business Management and MA in Strategic Communication and Leadership. Her commitment to service spans over two decades of voluntary and paid work in Houston’s non-profit sector; including 5 years in education. Now that her three daughters have matured to adulthood, she delights in hot coffee, bubble meditation and recharging so she can slay new dragons.

I'm passionate about incremental and organic shifts to the status quo. I believe that major shifts must occur in individuals before they can occur in systems.

We aren't all the same. We are all different, and that is okay.

Who knew I was supposed to have a TED story? I became fascinated with TED many years ago and have often envisioned myself on that red dot. I have long wanted to be one of those people who had something to say that other people should hear. Now, I am finally living the life I feel born to live and doing the work I feel born to do. I am able to tell me truth on large and small stages - mostly virtually and I believe I have something worthwhile to share. Maybe one day my TED story will include being a TED speaker.
