Johan Falk

Johan Falk is a leader and entrepreneur in exponential strategies for business and climate, with background from the Internet and Communications industry and co-founder and head of the Exponential Roadmap Initiative, now consisting of 55 organizations. He is initiator and lead author of the Exponential Roadmap (www.exponentialroadmap.org) and the 1.5°C Business Playbook (www.exponentialbusiness.org) and co-founder of the SME Climate Hub (www.smeclimatehub.org). In 2019 he invented the climate index together with Dagens Industri with the goal to accelerate company transparency for climate goals and strategy on the business newspapers stock exchange pages. He also published the 12 in 12 via World Economic Forum and was initiating establishment of the Step-up declaration initiative and co-founder of our kids climate. Early on, he was one of the initiators of the Global Carbon Law, together with Owen Gaffney and Johan Rockström, inspired by Moores Law. Johan Falk was with Intel Corporation 2006-2018, lately responsible for Intel Internet of Things Ignition Lab. He received the Intel Global Design Win of the Year 2010 now representing a multi-billion dollar business. Johan worked at Ericsson Head of Product Management for GSM Multimedia Services, built up and start scaling the real- time/pre-paid charging business exponentially, now representing more than 80% of all subscriptions globally. He is holder of a number of patents in the mobile communications industry, e.g. for 2 factor authentication, which is widely applied in the Internet industry today. Johan went to Chalmers University of Technology Industrial Engineering 1985-1989, and studied at Stockholm School of Economics 1984-1985.
