Kevin Fong

Kevin has been a technology manager, entrepreneur, and co-leader of a top tier Silicon Valley venture fund, Mayfield Fund for over 20 years. He also pioneered and helped the founding of GSR Ventures, an early-stage China focused technology VC fund. Mayfield has over $2.3 billion under management and GSR has over $600 million under management. He has been involved in over 54 company investments between 1988 and 2008. Of those investments, 9 have gone public and 15 have been acquired generating over $1 billion in returns to limited partners. He was Chairman and founding investor in storage vendor 3Par, which was the target of a $2.4B takeover battle between HP and Dell in 2010.
