Class of 2002, a master in computer science and one in marketing. 20 yrs of deep experience in Internet technology and business strategy, served more than 100 businesses. He founded his 1st Internet company when he was 18; then founded Digitix in 1999 in Italy and in 2002 in the USA, when he moved first to NY then LA and finally SF; involved in the operations and partner in 5 startups. In 2010 he founded in Silicon Valley along with other partners, Doochoo (Pick1), a revolutionary platform for the opinions in Internet as an innovative marketing and user engagement tool between brands and consumers: signed with Ikea, the first client in 2011. In 2011 he held the position of Head of Innovation and Emerging Media in H-art, company of H-farm group, interactive agency for strategic marketing and communication projects, acquired by WPP, the world's' largest marketing and comm. group. Paolo now works full time and focuses only on his venture Pick1. Very active in SV, connecting together experienced entrepreneurs, investors, , start-up rookies, and working to create an "Int'l Accelerator and TT Center", meanwhile, for years he has created a bridge between Italian and int'l companies. We live of just perceptions. We live of just what we see and the information passed by the system. If we can know more, we can do better, and live a more aware life. We should inquire more, go below the surface, break the rules, and go beyond the daily stimuli to which we are wired to. For example: we all fly right? I started to study flight prices algorithms, what we see when we look for a flight is just 10% of the price inventory. If we had access to the other data, we could fly for cheaper and thru different connection cities and ... maybe flying first class for almost free :) Ask me, happy to explain more and show you.
