The TED story
In April 2015, just months after my last TED conference, I had a major stroke and was given low odds for ever walking again. Miraculously, I survived, and last February skied for the first time since the stroke! I’ve taken a very active role in educating people how toprevent , treat, and beat stroke, one of the leading causes of death and disability in the world
