My TED story began with my living room couch. Almost every night, my father and I would watch a talk he found on YouTube. This was our bonding time. Those days are long since past, but my love of TED has never faded. Back in the summer of 2020, amidst heavy COVID shut downs, my now good friend, the Head Licensee for TEDxWesternNewEnglandUniversity, invited my for a Zoom interview for the role of Head Curator of Events... and the rest is history. TEDxWNEU is still in its infancy. I was lucky enough to be on the inaugural team, and remain on throughout the craziness of the pandemic. Tireless effort from the whole TEDxWNEU team has lead to our unbridled success in our first year. We are now back at the first stages of planning an event, and still trying to take in everything that happened back during our March 2021 event.
