About Evin
Bio
Educated as an engineer, and been working with the Maker Movement for almost 6 years now at Oslo Metropolitan University. At the beginning of 2016 OsloMet Makerspace was founded, and since then our user base has grown to over 1000 users. As the manager of the space, I am now focused on building a culture of making among the staff and students.
I am a creative person that likes to solve problems. The Maker movement has introduced me to crafts and technologies like 3D printing, silversmithing, sewing, silk pressing, wood-working and laser cutting. For the future I would like to focus more on how to create products that are more user centered, environmentally friendly and inclusive.
