With over five years of experience in client care and customer service, they now serves as a Business Development Specialist in telecommunications at Invest Ottawa, where they are dedicated to fostering innovation, economic growth, and entrepreneurship. Their professional journey is fueled by their commitment to creating positive impact and transforming ideas into reality. A proud graduate of the University of New Brunswick, holding a Bachelor's degree in Leadership and Interdisciplinary Studies, Ella brings their leadership, communication, and community engagement skills to everything she does. They thrives on collaboration and the power of diverse perspectives to spark change. As co-chair of the inaugural TEDx event at Bayview Yards, Ella is thrilled to champion the theme of "Ensemble," celebrating the strength of community and collective wisdom. They believes in the magic of sharing ideas that can change the world, and through TEDx, she’s excited to help bring inspiring stories and transformative ideas to the forefront. Ella lives by four simple words: "How can I help?"—a question that guides their work and their life.

I was first introduced to TED by my mother. She, as a life long educator, inspired me to always learn and grow. TED gave me the opportunity. Currently I have had the opportunity to co-chair an inaugural TEDx in Ottawa on November 2nd, 2024.
